"The
world is a wide and wonderful place, inhabited by a broad
spectrum of plants, animals, and people. The Ocean Classroom
program is just one way for young people, such as myself,
to see this diversity firsthand. The program is also one
of those experiences which create morally upstanding adults
by placing youths in an environment where teamwork and
responsibility are not just promoted, but necessary to
the safety of all aboard. I cannot wait to set sail on
this adventure, and it is my sincere hope that I will return
home better prepared to live in this world."
